Rubbish trap systems in the culvert or log catcher is a trap system consisting of bar screen and  flow director for catching the waste such as; tree trunks, logs, etc in a river. The trap system constructed upstream of the culvert to prevent the event of culvert blockage. This system has been constructed at the river and proven to be effective.

The old system was caused culvert blockage and river flow over the road so often when farmers clearing the land at the catchment area of the river, this occurs average 5 times a year.

After new design applied, culvert blockage at the river has never happened again and cleaning of the strainer trap system can be done easier and safer.
